ABCO Engineering (“the Company”) operates this online store in South Africa.
By using this website and placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT unless otherwise stated.
ABCO Engineering reserves the right to update pricing, product information, and policies at any time without prior notice.

2. Orders & Acceptance

• Placing an order does not constitute final acceptance.
• Orders are only confirmed once full payment has been received and cleared.
• ABCO Engineering reserves the right to cancel any order due to:
  • Stock unavailability
  • Pricing errors
  • Suspected fraud
  • Incorrect information supplied by the customer

If an order is cancelled after payment, a full refund will be issued.

3. Payment Policy

We accept the following payment methods:

• Yoco Pay
• BobPay
• EFT (where applicable)

Orders will only be processed once payment has been successfully received and confirmed.
No goods will be dispatched prior to payment confirmation.

4. Shipping Policy – Courier Guy

All deliveries are fulfilled via The Courier Guy.
Delivery timeframes are estimates and may vary depending on location and courier logistics.

Standard estimated delivery:
2–5 business days (main centres)
3–7 business days (outlying areas)

ABCO Engineering is not responsible for delays caused by:

• Courier operational delays
• Public holidays
• Weather disruptions
• Incorrect delivery details supplied by the customer

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.
Risk passes to the customer once goods are handed over to the courier.

5. Local Pickup

Customers selecting Local Pickup will be notified once the order is ready.

Orders not collected within 14 days may be cancelled.

6. Returns & Refund Policy

This policy is aligned with the South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA).

6.1 Defective or Damaged Goods

If goods are defective, damaged, or incorrect:

• Notify us within 7 days of receipt
• Provide proof (photos + order number)

We will:

• Replace the item, OR
• Repair the item, OR
• Issue a refund (where applicable)

Courier collection may be arranged where required.

6.2 Non-Defective Returns

If you wish to return goods that are not defective:

• You must notify us within 7 days.
• Goods must be unused and in original packaging.
• Return courier costs will be for the customer’s account.

A refund will be processed once goods are inspected and approved.

Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

6.3 Non-Returnable Items

The following may not be returned:

• Special order items
• Custom machined components
• Electrical parts once installed
• Items damaged due to incorrect installation

7. Warranty

Certain products may carry manufacturer warranties.
Warranty claims must comply with manufacturer conditions.
Improper installation, misuse, or modification voids warranty.

8. VAT & Tax Invoices

ABCO Engineering is VAT registered.
A Tax Invoice will be issued upon successful payment.
Customers requiring VAT details must provide:

• Company name
• VAT number

9. Limitation of Liability

ABCO Engineering shall not be liable for:

• Indirect or consequential losses
• Loss of profits
• Damages arising from improper installation or use

Customers are responsible for ensuring compatibility before purchase.
